Weddings
For your wedding celebration we can offer as little or as much assistance as you would like. Because we can offer catering and event planning as separate services, you can take as much or as little from us as you wish. At one end of the spectrum, we can source your venue, plan your day, find your perfect band or DJ, create the perfect menu, run the bar, and everything in between. At the other, we could supply a simple buffet.
We can organise hire of venue, marquee, accommodation, crockery, linen, cutlery, glassware, furniture – everything you need for a perfect day. We also have our own alcohol licence so can run a full paying or free bar throughout the day for you.
You may already have an absolute idea of what shape you would like your wedding to take. In this case, you give us the information, we'll give you a quote. On the other hand, you may not have a clue! Fancy a festival-style wedding? Picnic baskets in a field? Pie & mash with mushy peas? Or maybe a big grazing table of all your favourite things? We will be sure to give you a unique-to-you wedding day. And there is nothing we love more than a challenge, so let’s plan the wedding of the century!
Festivals
The big feather in our festival cap is crew, hospitality and artist catering for the John Peel stage at Glastonbury. We have also catered for PRS both onsite and offsite during Glastonbury. We have run the campsite catering, bar and stage for 5,000 campers at Upton Blues Festival before, during and after the festival, and smaller festivals we have catered include OutWest and Barn on the Farm. We have also run several small festivals of our own over the years, raising funds for charity.
Nunney Acoustic Cafe
Nunney Acoustic Cafe has been our baby since long before Events Horizon was even born. Its aim is to provide a stage for anyone wishing to perform music or spoken word and we pride ourselves on being the most welcoming venue we know. The Cafe takes place on the second Sunday of every month (except for July & August) at Nunney Village Hall in Somerset, and we offer excellent food (of course), a well-stocked bar, activities for kids, and a wonderful welcome for both established and newbie musicians.
Parties
Whether it is a big birthday bash, a christening, an anniversary party or just a glorious garden party to celebrate being alive, we can provide bespoke catering in whatever form you wish. Maybe a hot served buffet, or endless canapés, or a giant grazing table or cream tea – we can put together something wonderful to suit your budget.
Corporate Event Catering
Whether it is trays to just drop and go, a full three-course after-meeting dinner, or in-house catering for a team offsite, we can put together a menu to suit your event and budget.
