Hello! I’m Keren, and this is my company.
Back in 2011 I realised that people didn’t need copy editors anymore. As that had been my main career for the best part of 25 years, it was quite the realisation. And a scary one. What else could I do? What did I love to do? What else was I good at? I could cook and friends loved my food. I could organise events and colleagues thought I did it well. I loved music, eating and parties. I could project-manage and juggle deadlines.
So one enormously steep learning curve and a bucketful of passion, and here I am!
Events Horizon is the events side of the business – weddings, festivals, parties, corporate functions. Weddings from 50 to 300+; Glastonbury backstage catering; breakfast, lunch and dinner for corporate events. Nothing is impossible and we love it all! My team and I can do as much or as little as you need to make your event spectacular, whether it’s just the catering you need us for or everything from venue booking to running the bar to organising the flowers.
Keren’s Comfort Kitchen was born a couple of years back to fulfil a local need for hearty comfort food delivered to your door. During the pandemic this has been a lifeline both for the business and for everyone in lockdown. We can deliver ready-to-eat, chilled or frozen food to your door, and of course our famous cream teas and graze boxes are now the obvious gift delivery service to those in the area.

We hold an alcohol licence, a level 4 hygiene rating, and are fully covid-compliant. We are also members of NCASS, the nationwide accredited association for caterers.
